Children’s Choir (Ages 8 to 11)
Upper Elementary

Students will sing music ranging from classical to contemporary Christian. They will learn music theory, sight reading, proper vocal skills, foreign language songs and Choreography. Treble Choir (Grades 6 to 8)
Middle School

Treble Choir will concentrate on 3-part literature ranging from renaissance to contemporary and everything in between! Emphasis will be placed on proper vocal technique, sight-singing, and music theory. Students will perform competitively, non-competitively, and in service to others. Men’s Choir (Grades 6 to 8)
Middle School

Pre-teen men have the unique opportunity to experience a vocal experience that is tailored to the man’s changing voice. Singers will learn to negotiate the evolving man’s voice through literature specifically designed for the special needs of this middle school period. Tools will be taught to encourage men to continue singing even through the voice change.  Emphasis will be placed on proper vocal technique, sight-singing and theoretical concepts. Master’s Singers
Advanced – By Audition

Advanced Concert Choir students have the opportunity to audition for the Master’s Singers Ensemble. Auditions are held yearly in mid-May for the following school year. This group is the primary public relations group for CAPA and is available for gigs from late fall through early summer. Contact the director to make arrangements for special performances.
